SHANNON ADDUCCI
Shannon Adducci is an editor and writer based in New York City.
Growing up in a family that owns and operates Detroit’s nearly-100-year-old auction house, DuMouchelle Gallery, Shannon was exposed to rare and important pieces of antiques, art and jewelry from a young age. This childhood experience that would lay the foundation for a magazine journalism career focused on the storytelling of timeless design, artistry, craftsmanship and the endurance of family-led brands.
After graduating from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University, Shannon spent a decade at Departures magazine, learning the luxury world inside and out, as an editor of the publication’s fashion, jewelry and watch coverage, and a roving writer in the travel, home, design and wellness categories.
During her time as fashion editor of Billboard and contributing editor to The Hollywood Reporter, Shannon worked with top names in the music and entertainment industry, styling celebrities for cover shoots, music festivals, performances and shows, such as “The Hollywood Reporter Roundtables.” As style director at WWD/FN, Shannon covered the footwear and accessories markets through both print and digital coverage, reporting from fashion weeks, directing celebrity cover shoots, ideating content packages and exploring the intersection of fashion and identity through trend forecasting.
Shannon is currently an editor at Ralph Lauren’s RL Mag and Polo Newspaper, and at the twice-annual Dossier magazine. Other editorial work appears in T: The New York Times Style Magazine, Elle, Robb Report, WWD, Billboard, The Hollywood Reporter, New York Post, Departures, 1stdibs, Condé Nast Traveler, Bal Harbour, Editorialist, New York’s The Strategist, The Purist, and Modern Luxury.
