Shannon Adducci is a fashion editor, writer, stylist, editorial director, producer, content strategist and jewelry, accessories and footwear expert, based in New York City.
Growing up in a family that owns and operates Detroit’s nearly-100-year-old auction house, DuMouchelle Gallery, Shannon was exposed to rare and important pieces of antiques, art and jewelry from a young age.
After graduating from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University, she spent seven years at Departures magazine, learning the luxury world inside and out, from high jewelry, rare watches and fashion to travel, home and design and wellness.
During her time as fashion editor of Billboard and contributing editor to The Hollywood Reporter, Shannon worked with top names in the music and entertainment industry, styling celebrities for cover shoots, music festivals and performances, and shows such as “The Hollywood Reporter Roundtables.” As style director at WWD/FN, Shannon covered the footwear and accessories markets at fashion weeks and directed celebrity cover shoots and content packages.
Shannon is currently an editor at Dossier magazine, and her editorial work has appeared in T: The New York Times Style Magazine, Elle, Robb Report, WWD, Billboard, The Hollywood Reporter, New York Post, Departures, 1stdibs, Condé Nast Traveler, Editorialist, New York’s The Strategist, Bal Harbour, the Purist, and Modern Luxury titles.
